11/9/15: Today is Actually Su Beng's Birthday
While today, November 9th is actually Su Beng's birthday, there was a big birthday celebration organized for him yesterday, November 8th in Changhwa at 桂都國際美食館. Here are some photos from the event:

What an amazing likeness of Su Beng and replica of his seminal work 台灣人四百年史 （The Taiwanese People's 400 Years of History in three volumes）!

There was even a seating chart for the event. Su Beng is "98 years young"- as they count it in Taiwan.
