Su Beng is a Taiwanese nonagenarian revolutionary, former undercover Chinese Communist agent, would-be assassin of Chiang Kai-Shek, lifelong Taiwan independence activist, historian and author of TAIWAN’S 400 YEARS OF HISTORY.

Since 2004 I've been documenting the life of Su Beng in order to write his English biography and in 2007 I started a blog about Su Beng. Now, in October of 2013, this blog has become a website. Follow along as I continue to unravel and explain the elusive contradictions of this man's life. As a first time biographer I'll also share some of my reflections on my role as Su Beng's biographer.
